I'M A WRITER/PRODUCER IN THE FILM AND TELEVISION INDUSTRY

I work both as a writer and producer of feature films, television movies and series.

My producer credits include the 2009 two hour Miniseries IRON ROAD, an international co-production with China, starring Peter O’Toole, Sam Neill, Sun Li and Tony Leung Ka Fai. The series will air on CBC in August, 2009, and has been released in a theatrical version and a miniseries version world wide.

Other feature films Isaac Littlefeathers, starring Lou Jacobi and Scott Hylands; Alien Warrior released by Shapiro Entertainment and Lion’s Gate Films, and Plague, starring Daniel Pilon, Kate Reid and Celine Lomez which won Best Screenplay and Best Sci-Fi Feature awards at the International Film Festival in Spain.

I also produced the television movies Rin-Tin-Tin and the Paris Conspiracy, Covert Action, starring Wendy Crewson and Art Hindle, The Life and Times of Edwin Alonzo Boyd, starring Gordon Pinsent, and Crossbar, starring Kim Cattrall, Brent Carver and John Ireland. In addition I have produced more than 300 episodes of television drama including 13 episodes of Deepwater Black, and 106 episodes of Katts & Dog (Rin-Tin-Tin, K-9 Cop in the U.S.).

As a writer ai have feature film credits on Paperback Hero, starring Keir Dullea and Elizabeth Ashley, Me, Sally Fieldgood & Co., Plague, Bloody Birthday, starring Susan Strasberg and Jose Ferrer, Firebird 2015 AD, Isaac Littlefeathers and Alien Warrior.

Among my awards are Best Screenplay, Best Picture at the International Film & Television Festival of New York for The Life and Times of Edwin Alonzo Boyd, Best Screenplay. Feature Film at the 12th International Film Festival in Sitges, Spain for Plague and a Special Jury Award, Feature Film at the San Francisco International Film Festival for Plague.
